The Marco Polo Motel - Mackay

The comfortable queen-size bed and great shower made for a restful stay, although the room was a bit cramped for our family of four. The friendly staff, including a lovely reception lady, and convenient location near shops and restaurants were highlights. While we had a few challenges with seating and kitchenette supplies, the atmosphere was relaxing, and my son loved the pool. I’ll definitely return!

I had a great city break! The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made check-in a breeze. The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby! Plus, the location is perfect-just a hop away from local shops and restaurants. The shower pressure was fantastic too, making for a refreshing start to my day!

The room itself felt a bit cramped, especially with an awkward setup for bigger groups. I wish there were more seating options and better kitchen facilities. The decor could definitely use a refresh, as it was starting to feel dated. it was a good base for exploring, but I wouldn’t want to spend all day hanging out in the room.

We had a relaxing stay on a long road trip.

We liked this stay. The staff were expert and location was particularly good and fantastic. Variety of restaurants to eat close by, like Rialto Restaurant that was only 5 minutes' walk away.

Surprisingly nice room for a motel. Very nice and accommodating staff. Lies on the highway, was ideal for us as a stopover on the way through.

It is located directly on the highway, so you can hear the odd truck driving by at night. But overall it remains within the limits.

This place is conveniently located near a shopping center.

Large, bright and completely renovated room. New bathroom too. Value for money super. Nice lady at the front desk. Despite being located on the main road very quiet!

Very well maintained, great location, extensive Continental Breakfast with fresh muffins, friendly operator couple.

The friendly staff here made me feel truly welcome in a central location surrounded by plants or trees.

Location great, room and comfort excellent. Easy stroll to cafe's and restaurants.

Management rude, did not want to honour booked rate due to booking commission! Should be discussing that with Booked.net not customers!
